Shropshire Drama Company present Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. Set in 1955 Brooklyn the story centres on an Italian-American family - Eddie Carbone, his wife Beatrice and their niece Catherine whom they have raised from a baby, following the death of her mother. Eddie, a longshoreman working on the docks in Red Hook, welcomes his wife’s impoverished Sicilian cousins into his apartment, who have entered the US illegally in the hope of finding work. However, Catherine falls in love with one of the cousins and Eddie's affection for her turns into obsession.
