A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM by William Shakespeare
Directed by David Pearce
In the forest of Athens romantic misunderstandings, lyrical descriptions of nature and love, fairies and fantasy and the famous "play within the play" all combine as Shakespeare's most popular comedy comes to the Rose.
All performances at 7.30 pm (except Sundays at 3.00 pm only)
No Monday performances
The Rose is an indoor archaeological site, it is advisable to dress with an extra layer as there is no heating. There are also no toilets so please use Shakespeare’s Globe just a few hundred meters away.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the production starts to pay for or collect your tickets.
