Over a forty-year career as a first-call New York jazz drummer Jeff Williams accompanied Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Lovano, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, and many more. Since making a second home in London nearly a decade ago, Jeff has been heard with Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Martin Speake, Nikki Iles and Mike Gibbs, to name a few. His NY-based quartet has released two celebrated CDs on the Whirlwind Recordings label that received best of their respective years’ awards from Downbeat and All About Jazz.

Jeff’s UK group appears for the fourth year in a row at the 2014 London Jazz Festival at the Green Note, following a tour of Brazil where their new CD, Concert In The Amazon, was recorded live.
