Featuring Glasgow’s Eddi Reader; The Bills from Canada; Martyn Joseph from Wales and Eliza Gilkyson from the USA, Ireby is once again reaching out to all corners for the best in festival music.
Festival goers will have an opportunity to see the likes of Flats and Sharps a bright and fun young blue grass group of lads from Penzance and from Cambridge with rich close harmonies The Willows, a folk roots family band or for late night revellers, funky folk tunes, saucy songs and an infectious stage energy from Blackbeard's Tea Party.
Situated in a beautiful village setting at the edge of the Lake District National Park, and now in its twelfth year Ireby Festival offers a wealth of music for all tastes at venues including; St James Church, The Globe Hall, Ireby 12th century chancel, The Lion Pub, and the 600 capacity main stage marquee with stunning views towards Skiddaw, England’s fourth highest mountain. With value for money weekend adult tickets at £55 and generous concessions for young people under 17 years, Ireby 2014 promises once again to be an exciting musical experience for all the family!
