Another year and another Weekend Frenzy, wow what a weekend 2013 was! The buzz was amazing, such a relaxed weekend was had by all, thanks to everyone for supporting Michael Sobell Hospice.
We must say a big thanks for all the support you have given to the Weekend Frenzy, funny pictures with flyers and shots consumed. So we know you had fun. We had people from all over the UK and even visitors from Europe who made the trip over. You all made the party so much fun.
Frenzy time again and we can't wait. We have have had loads of great feedback and this year, we are going to make it even more fun for the end of May Bank Holiday weekend.
This is one weekender not to be missed, we have more from the best Rockin bands and we have squeezed as many DJs as we can fit in.
This year we have bands coming from all over the country to entertain you.
It all starts on Friday 23rd of May 2014 at midday when the gates open for this fantastic weekend. The music starts as soon as you arrive, bands and record hops.
We did not want to forget anyone this year so, we have some local hotels that you can book via the Weekend Frenzy website, but for the hardcore Frenzy crowd you be able to pitch your tent and park up your car, truck, suburban, bike, tractor (tractor space limited).
We have booked extra space for 2014 as we keep on being told by people that they missed the last weekender and they want to come this year.
On Friday night we will have bands and more record hops in the main hall for you to dance the night away. It's still a great deal at the club house bar with drinks prices you will be more than happy with.
Saturday, Ok, ok, we got up a bit early last year and the music will not start till 11am, so it will give you plenty of time to stay in your sleeping bag and recover from the night before.
We have lots of vendors booked this year, records, vintage clothing, car and motorcycle parts. Food, Food you say. The Duel truck will be with us again from Friday and throughout the weekend, as so many people loved it.
Bands and Record Hops all day and into the evening, Saturday night is going to be a blast. We want you guys and girls to have fun, so kick back and enjoy the show.
Sunday, those who want open their car boots and sell a few old tires, handbags and stuff, then we are looking to hold a little swap meet in the main area on the Sunday morning, so make sure you bring some of your good stuff to sell, swap etc. We are counting on you.
More Bands and Record Hops to keep you entertained for a relaxing Sunday afternoon and a fantastic band has been booked for the Sunday night. Whoo Hoooooo.
The free popcorn went down so well, so yes we are going to run it again.
Monday, time to put all, I mean ALL your rubbish in the bin first and then dump it at the gate or take it home (Sofas, Gazebo skeletons, etc). Please, please don't just leave it in the middle of the field. Pack your stuff and set off for home.
Due to the popularity and venue size we are limiting the amount of people who can attend the event in 2014, so when the pre book online tickets run out, then there will be NO walk up passes of any kind, even on Sunday
Pre-book online Weekend pass £35
On the gate, Weekend pass £40, Sunday day passes on the gate £20 (subject to availability)
Pre-book 16 to 17 years of age £12 with ID, under 16 years of age free entry with ID.
All the best from the Weekend Frenzy Crew.
