Event 1:

Sunday September 14th 2.00 - 3.00 pm Family Concert

The Classic Buskers communicate their passion for classical music in two of the best ways possible – virtuosity and laughter. You will come away from our annual Family Concert on a high, having been both entertained and informed. That’s The Classic Buskers‘ secret – an ability to communicate their love of music to all ages. Michael Copley plays more than 40 woodwind instruments at incredible speeds, ranging from recorders, flutes, panpipes, crumhorns and ocarinas to a Pico Pipe
and a rubber trout, accompanied by Ian Moore on a small but perfectly-formed accordion.

Event 3:

Wednesday September 17th 6.30 pm Evening Concert

The artists of the Festival ensemble will present a tanatalising taste of concerts to come by performing their choice of virtuoso, lively and heart-warming music from the Czech Republic. Composers include Dvorak, Suk, Martinu, and Janacek all of whom will reappear in the Festival concerts.

The concert will be introduced by Artistic Director Nicholas Daniel.

Please note the early start time of 6.30pm
so you can catch this concert on your way from work
or as an early evening treat and, we hope, inspire you to come to other Festival concerts.

Tickets include a glass of FIZZ
