UPPINGHAM: School Chapel

An evening of music for unaccompanied voices given by The Tallis Scholars, one of the leading exponents of Renaissance sacred music in the world. Founded in 1973 by their director, Peter Phillips, they are renowned for their purity and clarity of sound, so ideally suited to this rich and varied repertoire. They give over 70 concerts a year across the globe, visiting the USA three times in 2011-12.

This evening's programme includes music by Arvo Part, Orlando di Lassus, Palestrina, Praetorius and Allegri's 'Miserere'.
