Gilles Peterson marks his return to KOKO for the Worldwide Awards with another mind-blowing bill showcasing the year's outstanding artists. The annual music celebration curated by Gilles stands as a tribute to the amazing breadth and depth of music bubbling up from the Worldwide underground, featuring live performances, super-special one-off collaborations and DJ sets from a host of emerging artists championed by Gilles on his radio shows (BBC Radio 1; Gilles Peterson Worldwide International; and J-Wave).
Entering its seventh year, the Worldwide Awards has grown from humble beginnings as a specialist radio broadcast to the most highly anticipated event in the global underground music calender.
