Formed in London in 2003, The Duke Spirit's sound incorporates elements of blues-rock, post-punk and the early noise rock and grunge bands of the late 80s and early 90s such as The Pixies. The band consists of Liela Moss (vocals/tamborine/piano/harmonica), Luke Ford (guitar/organ), Marc Sallis (bass) Toby Butler (guitar/organ ) and Olly Betts (drums). 'Nobody in the world is making music as deliciously nasty as these evil f**kers right now' NME.
