We will be releasing Phoria's much anticipated new EP ‘Bloodworks’ and stunning Single 'Red' through Akira Records on Monday 29th April. Therefore we thought we'd hold a party at The Hoxton Bar & Kitchen and to also celebrate Phoria's recent success on Hype Machine, reaching No. 2 the popular charts, and a very successful start to their EP campaign.

We'd also thought we'd invite along some of our favourite artists in London right now to join the show. DEBIAN BLAK, HELLA BETTER DANCER and JAMES SPANKIE.

Akira is a tastemaker label, blog and promotions company run by local musicians geared towards acting as a filter for the best new music.

After sharing new single 'Red' with the world the track has blown up online - 60k hits in 9 days and reaching No. 2 as the most popular track on the blogs on Hype Machine - there is a real buzz about Phoria at the moment. We are very excited to be working with them and releasing their EP 'Bloodworks' later this month.

This is their EP Launch show in London.

The Brighton band combine beguiling melodies, elegant arrangements and ethereal vocals to produce beautiful and eclectic music, with influences ranging from Sigur Rós to James Blake.

They have already shared the stage with Little Dragon, Dodgy, and Ultraista, project of legendary Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, as well as rising stars like Active Child, Anchorsong and Her Name Is Calla.
