Acoustic Dustbowl presents: Hannah Rose Platt is an exciting singer-songwriter and self taught guitarist from Liverpool, who now splits her time between her hometown, London and Nashville. She performs self-penned songs that blend Americana music with contemporary folk tales. Featuring beautifully drawn characters that are totally believable, stories that beguile and enthral, her music is both uplifting and poignant; truthful and poetic.

Hannah released her debut EP in 2013. The title track, '1954' (a touching story told through the eyes of a woman suffering from dementia) has received considerable airplay and requests on BBC Radio Merseyside, Wrecking Ball Radio and Europe’s no.1 country radio station CMR Nashville. She was also featured in BBC Radio Merseyside’s ‘review of the year’ show 2013.

2014 sees Hannah’s return to Nashville to record her debut album with Michael Bonagura (Baillie and the Boys) at the controls and featuring multi Grammy award-winning musicians Mark Fain (Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton) and Stuart Duncan (Emmylou Harris, Mark Knopfler, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss) due for release this summer.
