Pint of Science (www.pintofscience.com) have teamed up with SpotOn London to offer an evening of informal fun science talks relating to science communication.
Dr Simon Foster (from Sky 1 HD's Do Duck Quacks Echo?) will be curating the night where Professor Tony Segal (UCL) will talk about fraud in science and Dr Aeneas Wiener (Cytora) will be talking about how he uses open data to calculate political risk. Dr Mike Galsworthy will talk about science policy and might even do a quick poem or two.
In between pints and talks we'll gather around for some good old fashioned science storytelling hosted by comedian Michael Kossew. The theme is '(Im)practical Applications of Science' and if you have a story you would like to tell please get in touch (contact@pintofscience.com).
Please note that the event takes place on the second floor of The Driver.
Pint of Science is a non-profit organisation and all of your ticket money will go towards future events.
