Theatre Writers Workshop presents:

That Woman's Voice

A one woman show and a tribute to Jean Cocteau and his 1930's play La Voix Humaine, That Woman's Voice stars Simona Continente in a dynamic and intertextual tale of obsession, passion, blackmail, sex,
identity and death.
This is Simona's second appearance at the Camden Fringe, after appearing as 'Lili' in the Theatre Writers Workshop's all Trans production of the same name on the life of the first trans woman Lili Elbe. This new play is centred on a woman, who alone in her flat, awaits her lover's call. Their relationship must come to an end. What is their secret? Caught up in a line that comes and goes, the couple's reality dramatically shifts into a subtle cat and mouse game. But things are rarely what they seem to be...

Written and devised by Islington based Simona Continente, the show features original music by South East London based two piece band Raf and O, who deliver a soundtrack of fragile, magnetic and strange lullabies as part of the new work.

The play is directed by Klarita Pandolfi, an Italian London based artist, former actress and music promoter who has worked extensively in Italy and in the UK.
