An 8-mile walk to the historic Hermitage Castle, led by the filmmaker Andrew Kötting, with Claudia Barton and Anonymous Bosch.
Please assemble at the Common Haugh Car park at 11.30am for the bus to the start of the walk. Travel is provided to the start of the walk and from Hermitage Castle after the screening. The return bus will depart from the Hermitage Hall at 09.30pm.
A performative perambulation which reunites the ghosts of king harold and his hand fast wife Edith Swan Neck. They will lead a raggle-taggle procession of artists and miscreants towards the hermitage castle and the spectral vision that is mary queen of scots. A trajectory in celebration of myth-making, ghosts and unreliable memory. May the magnetic force-fields be upon them.
Followed by the Scottish premiere screening of Edith Walks at Hermitage Hall.
