Illuminate is a concert series shining light on the works of women composers and performers. The concert series will programme new works by composers Angela Elizabeth Slater, Gemma Mcgregor, Blair Boyd, Sarah Westwood and Carol J Jones written for performers Késia Decoté (piano), Cassie Matthews (guitar), Sabina Virtosu (violin) and composer-performer Gemma Mcgregor (flute/shakuhachi). These new works will be performed alongside a number of historical women composers such as Morfydd Owen, Lily Boulanger, and Amy Beach.
