BILLIONAIRE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50snAZo1FRg

Prolific songwriter John Sterry AKA BILLIONAIRE has demonstrated his talent previously through numerous projects. Delivering the stellar ‘Fine Minds’ EP in 2015 he showcased a more personal undertaking with a low-fi and DIY approach. He then released the follow-up, the 'Cheap Credit' EP on Blue Mary Records in 2017. Fresh from touring the US fronting seminal post-punk group Gang of Four he hit the road again, but this time with his own band.

“Politically and culturally aware, the artist feeds this information into his song-writing… a noir-driven and deeply atmospheric piece of pop music.” - Clash Music

Bingo Harry/Chanting Plants

Bingo Harry performs solo and/or as a band, using choral guitar sounds, vibra keys and soul fuelled rhythms and grooves. Using warping chords straight from the peripheral shower, cleansing you and your legs with bass grooves, harmonised cries, banjo mantras, synth wisdom and escapist lyricism.

Code: Marla

Code: Marla is a project fusing a hybrid of electronic music genres with live rock based elements to create a dark, hypnotising atmosphere. Code:Marla have recently expanded their sound with the addition of Vocalist/Rapper 'The Invisible Man'.

John G.Hall

John G. Hall is a Manchester (UK) poet who has served as the editor of Citizen32 and the host of Beatification. His previous books include The Drowning Fish, Bang! and Spleen.

"Hall really wants to include everything and everybody - he unloads personal and political contradictions with an organised spontaneity that is refreshing and millennial." - Jack Hirschman

Loa

Hedonistic Techno. A visceral palette of sound.

Mayshe Mayshe

Leeds based Electro-Yoni-Pop solo project of Living Body multi-instrumentalist Alice Rowan, producing songs inspired by the Moomins and a sophisticated array of emotions

Mutabase

DIY ROCK STAR!

"An expresser both of life and beyond it – putting her body, movement and mind into the music which is powerfully anarcho-punk in its approach yet pulls on everything from power pop to industrial dance – and then pulls it apart." - Louder Than War

Nylund

Nylund produces electronica tracks drawing from a wide range of musical and cultural influences. Inspired by the diverse sensations and interactions we become exposed to in our lives, his music combines the familiar with the unheard to create new, yet accessible experiences.

2017 saw the release of the 'Sanctuary' EP, consisting of five focussed tracks ranging from minimal to lush and from mellow to intense, glued together by a love for analogue warmth and melody.

Playacting

PLAYACTING is the solo, skewed-pop project of Manchester's Evan Wilson.

Special Love

Johnny Dave is the masked man of mystery and romance who has been making people laugh and cry all over the place, plus also exciting them with his body and his moves. A unique mixture of synthpop and noise like nobody else does, with songs about longing, loneliness and lust, this is going to be really special.

Tacetmusic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTtpcSl2wpg

Sometimes using live instrumentation, sometimes purely electronic, Tacetmusic attempts to fuse ambient space with propulsive musicality.
Having previously utilised modular systems, piano, live harp and tape to bring a classical minimalism to Techno, Tacetmusic is commiting 2018 to building a tight, versatile and powerful live rig.

Beginning with a back-to basics rhythm-based approach, the set will bloom and evolve into something radically different by the year’s end.

Veladrome

Krautrock and Post Punk inspired two piece with palpitating drum machines, fuzzy bass and ethereal echo drenched vocals.

Vieon

With influences from 1970s synthpop pioneers such as Jarre and Kraftwerk filtered through the cinematic soundscapes of 1980s electronic film scores, Vieon takes the sounds of the analogue past and dystopian future and blends them together with catchy synth hooks, bass grooves and epic solos to create evolving, emotive and spacey electronic music that will move you.
