Can you believe it's been 10 years since we started Custard Comedy?

To celebrate, we're putting on a very special show, with four headline quality acts.

Zoe Lyons took her first steps down the comedy path in 2003 after training as an actress at the Poor School in London. She went on to win the Funny Women Competition in 2004 and her debut Edinburgh show was nominated for the if.comedy newcomer award. In 2008 she won the Dave, Funniest Joke of The Fringe Award.

She has numerous TV and radio credits to her name, including Mock The Week, Mcintyre's Road Show, Live at The Apollo, The News Quiz etc etc. "Probably the most impressive British female comic on the circuit" The Skinny.

Medically qualified Paul Sinha is now a critically acclaimed international stand up comedian of many years standing who first achieved media recognition in 2006 when his solo show Saint or Sinha was nominated for the If.comedy (formerly Perrier) award at the Edinburgh Festival. Since then he has been something of a fixture on Radio 4 with the series Paul Sinha’s Citizenship Test and Paul Sinha’s History Revision as well as one off shows on cricket, the 2012 Olympics and Magna Carta. He has also made frequent appearances on Radio 4 favourites News Quiz, Just a Minute, and The Now Show and has registered several victories on Radio 5’s feisty weekly sports panel show Fighting Talk.

As a live comic, Paul has appeared in the first two series of the Stewart Lee curated tv show Alternative Comedy Experience and in 2014 he was voted “Best Club Comedian” in the annual Chortle Awards.

In addition to this Paul has carved out a further career as a professional quizzer, attaining grandmaster status in 2014, reaching a career high UK ranking of 7 in 2015. Since 2011 Paul has been one of the regular “Chasers” on ITV’s award winning quiz show The Chase.
Jonny Awsum exploded onto the professional comedy scene with a crowd-pleasing set that's seen him perform his special feel-good brand of musical comedy around the world. He's a comedic whirlwind, and has risen quickly from a fresh faced newbie to a highly sought after headline act.

Jonny has been traversing the UK and indeed the World, armed with an impressive arsenal of jokes and his trusty guitar. He's a must for comedy clubs, as his crowd-pleasing set sees Jonny regularly ending his sets to standing ovations and demands of an encore. In 2017, Jonny performed his musical comedy on Britain's Got Talent, winning a unanimous vote of approval from the judges. "Absolutely brilliant”- Amanda Holden.
