This is the BEST night to begin your comedy journey and scratch your comedy itch. It's a night of two parts...come to both or just perform at Showtime. Hosted by one of Bristol's finest, Louise Leigh!

PLAYTIME: 6.00pm, £5

THIS MONTH: PIMP MY FIVE!
If you've got five minutes of comedy, whether it's your first five, or your funniest five, come and have it peer-reviewed in small groups by helpful, supportive funny women. We'll get it tightened up whether it's for your first time, or your big competition entry.

We're also aiming to have a film crew there so you can have a good quality video to send to promoters or competitions. (Price split in the region of a tenner.)

Meet like-minded women with a passion for comedy, learn how to generate material through improvised comedy, share scripts, sets jokes and ideas from comedians currently performing on the circuit, and receive one-to-one comedy advice from the Funny Women team.


SHOWTIME: 8.00pm, FREE!

Funny Women knows that comedy can be scary, so this night provides a platform for women to get on stage and perform comedy for the first time. Even if you're already a regular on the circuit, Time of the Month is a great night to try out new material in front of a warm and supportive audience.
