Event information
We present a multi-media evening of musical theatre, following the journeys of two travellers, DH Lawrence in Mexico and Ibn Battuta in Medieval Africa. The two musicians involved are Tunde Jegede (kora, cello, voice) and Rafael Guel (vihuela, flute, percussion).Sunara Begum will add visuals, live performance infusing archival imagery, paintings, text and poetry to express a timeless narrative.
