The FSO's January concert takes the form of a reprise of its popular family concert format. Our aim is to appeal to music lovers of all ages and it therefore draws upon a wide range of popular works, many familiar to younger generations as film theme tunes. We will be taking a trip through the different sections of the orchestra, highlighting their characteristic sounds and capabilities. A particular feature will be our entire horn section as four soloists in Schumann's Konzertstück. The concert will take place at 14:30 so make sure you make a note of the unusual start time. We look forward to welcoming you to an exciting afternoon of musical fun.

Please collect your tickets from the Box Office on the day of the concert
