After an insanely amazing show in April, we’re delighted to be helping David Thomas Broughton celebrate 15 years since his debut album was released with another show in 2019!

This tour and a limited edition vinyl re-issue celebrates the 15-year anniversary of David Thomas Broughton’s acclaimed debut The Complete Guide To Insufficiency.

Originally released in 2004 by Birdwar Records in the UK, Complete Guide soon got a USA release on Plug Research in 2005. The music has been re-mastered, and the tracks slightly reordered to fit onto this special vinyl LP version. Birdwar Records was launched in order to release this album… the label’s wish was to try and capture David’s current set at the time, an early, far less performative version of what would become his brilliant and unpredictable live shows. They decided not to record a second take, it was done, a wonderfully imperfect document with just the right amount of insufficiency.
