Oxjam is taking over Hackney once again!

Join us on the 13th of October at the Vortex Jazz Club for a night of music, fundraising and much more!

Oxjam Hackney is run entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds we raise from ticket sales and fundraising go directly to support Oxfam’s work. Since the first Oxjam in 2006, more than 60,000 musicians have played to over 1.5 million people at over 5000 Oxjam events nationwide. Oxjam has raised more than £2.5 million in total for Oxfam: enough to feed 357,140 families; buy 100,000 goats or provide safe water for 1,500 schools.

Led by an all-female management team, this year Oxjam Hackney is working to correct the gender inequality prevalent in UK festival line-ups by showcasing female, trans and non-binary artists only. We feel passionate about the representation of these groups in the music industry and can’t wait to showcase their talent.
