TFF is delighted to welcome back Greg Russell for a socially distanced gig with strictly limited ticket numbers in the newly refurbished and fully accessible St Mary’s Church, Guildford.
Possessed of an ‘extraordinary voice’ that’s ‘full of character’ (The Telegraph), over the last 8 years Greg Russell has established himself as one of the most significant performers on the U.K. folk scene. Playing guitar, bouzouki, banjo and singing, in 2013 he won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and in 2014 won the Horizon Award with Ciaron Algar.
Singing a mixture of original and traditional song in 2017, Greg released his debut solo album, Inclined to be Red, described as ‘a powerful statement’ (Acoustic), and ‘excellent’ (RnR Magazine).
