On the 12 May 2022 Jack Cade will be performing at The Acoustic Couch, playing songs from his last three solo albums 'The Death Throes of a Jaded Empire', 'Bear Bones' and 'A Murder of Crows'.

Jack puts his musical leanings down to a mixture of watching spaghetti westerns far too many times and his early years spent sitting in his grandparents kitchen on a Sunday afternoon, whilst the roast dinner was in full swing, with the radio spewing out any number of country tunes. Add this to a life-long love of punk and folk, and you get an idea of the influences that drive his songs, which fall somewhere in the spectrum of Americana and Folk. His lyrics are built around stories, observations on life and the experiences along that well-worn road, painting broad and accessible pictures on love, loss, addiction, society, politics, self awareness and our need to grow and change.
