This duo last appeared at the Black Swan as special guests with guitarist Clive Carroll. Now they headline an evening for us in their own right. BRIGID KAELIN is a singer, storyteller, author, and multi-instrumentalist who has appeared on BBC, NPR and received many “Best Singer-Songwriter” awards in Louisville. With 7 albums/EPs of original music, she’s toured the world with her entertaining, upbeat, and poignant live show. The addition of Steve Cooley lifts her originals, making the show reminiscent of old-time variety hours.
Bluegrass banjoist STEVE COOLEY was a member of legendary bluegrass band The Dillards. He has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw, has performed for five US Presidents and the Prince of Wales. His work has earned 5 Grammy nominations and many more accolades besides.
