Led by vocalist Nicolle Maroulis, New Jersey band Hit Like a Girl just another group of people who play guitar in their profile pictures begging u to like and follow their band social media accounts and Spotify. They channel their confessionals and lovelorn woes into soaring, pop-punk-filtered indie rock. Beefy riffs and rollicking drums prove the band’s knack for stellar arrangements, as Maroulis’ lyrics offer a source of comfort for the similarly anxious.
