Due to public demand, Michael Head will be performing a second acoustic concert at FRETS on Saturday 3rd Sept in the Strathaven Hotel. We are extremely excited about this, being long-term fans from having seen him perform with the Pale Fountains in Glasgow in the early 1980s through to the 'lost' Shack album (Waterpistol) released by Marina Records and on to Adios Señor Pussycat, which was released in 2017. .

Michael's new album (Dear Scott) recorded with the Red Elastic Band went into the UK top 10 album chart, and a recent tour with the band was a success. Fans were treated to live versions of classics like Newby Street, Comedy & Meant To Be, along with new songs such as Kismet, Broken Beauty, Fluke and more. Dear Scott has received universal critical acclaim, including 9/10 reviews in Uncut and 5/5 in MOJO.

Michael's acoustic concert at FRETS promises to be a special and intimate affair, tickets are expected to sell out.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 24th June.
