Event information
Katie and Mike West live the life they sing about. Touring across three continents with four kids and a truck load of songs, they tell stories about the strangeness of everyday life. Their music combines elements of bluegrass, music hall jazz, and straight up rock’n’roll.
Their appearance at last year's Shrewsbury Folk Festival caused quite a stir. After their first appearance on the village green stage word spread and the biggest crowd ever for that stage turned up for their second performance.
