Donovan Haffner is an alto saxophonist with over a decade’s experience. He is presently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, specialising in Jazz. Donovan has played with a multitude of professional musicians including big contemporary names such as Moses Boyd and Jay Phelps and was mentored by Gary Crosby, Alex Davis and Binker Golding of Tomorrow’s Warriors. The group plays originals written by Donovan, influenced by Joe Henderson, Immanuel Wilkins and Walter Smith, as well as Kenny Dorham and Mark Turner and more.
