For the Launch Night of the Music Mix, two top-drawer contemporary jazz musicians join forces to create an epic band, featuring their original compositions and carefully selected covers, for an exciting evening of music. 

Chris Allard and Jim Watson have played together in various musical settings since 2004, and have worked and recorded with a diverse range of artists, including Kurt Elling, Jacqui Dankworth, Hamish Stuart, Brand New Heavies, Charlie Wood, Zero 7, Jamie Cullum, Dame Cleo Laine, US3, Sir John Dankworth, Lea Salonga, Gary Moore, Patti Austin and Lalo Schifrin.

Completing the line-up is the first-call rhythm section of long-standing friends and collaborators, Dudley Phillips (Bass) and Nick Smalley (Drums).
