Folky Owls Presents Live Music in Durweston: Becoming Branches
Support by Antoine & Owena

Based in the New Forest in the south of England, Becoming Branches are a Folk-Americana trio blending acoustic sounds and soaring harmonies in an enchanting mix of creative and heartfelt songs accompanied on guitar and keyboard.

They released their self-titled debut EP in March 2020, which was promptly named BBC Introducing Solent Record of the Week and they have continued to gain radio play both locally and internationally ever since. Their accolades also include: Best UK Emerging Artist 2021 – Live Country Sessions and Single/EP/Mini Album of the Year – FATEA Annual Awards (shortlisted).

They have performed at renowned festivals such as Cambridge Folk Festival, New Forest Folk Festival and the Secret Garden Party.

Opening the evening will be Antoine & Owena
Inspired by traditional and contemporary folk music, Antoine & Owena create their own original blend of folk music
that provides a feast for the ears, the heart and the feet. Together they combine the interpretive, classically
influenced folk violin styles of Owena Archer, with the folk-rock guitar and bouzouki rhythms of Antoine Architeuthis
to create an eclectic mix of original and traditional material inspired by history, tragedy, love and hope.
