Inspired by our current exhibition, 'Hitchens Family: In Focus', learn to develop your own abstract response to a chosen inspirational landscape with watercolour and mixed media. We will spend the morning sketching in the exhibition, and work on a series of mixed media experiments using watercolour, inks, resists and collage in the afternoon. Please bring some images, a sketchbook and your own brushes if liked for the afternoon. All levels of experience welcome. This workshop will run from 11am - 4pm with a short break for lunch. You are welcome to bring something with you or to go out.
