Harmonic Swamp - when your brother is Ants/Bow Wow Wow/Republica percussive tour de force Dave Barbarossa then I guess taking up the drums is a no brainer, and here's Barb Jr looking like Dave's drum twin! And powering a great band too. Tightly knit intertwining riffs and quirky twangy bass led post punkish grooves is the thang. Mid paced Stranglers type numbers, sans keys with a bit of cool menace.

The Harlem Racket - a three piece who play gritty, groovy garage rock. shot through with acid lyrics, creating spiky little vignettes of grinding joy.

Ned Ashcroft - urban singer songwriter, London accent in tact amidst the crooning and drops in colloquial LDN type references...modal songs, very melodic and old school despite the street demeanour... artfully done with lots of nice jazz chords.
