NOBLE JACKS
With the fiddle leading the charge, Noble Jacks are out to take no prisoners with their high-energy footstompin’ rhythms, which have taken crowds by storm across the UK and beyond. Nominated Live Act Of The Year 2023 by the Americana Music Association UK, Noble Jacks are considered by many to be the finest purveyors of folk-influenced americana.
Noble Jacks’ debut album What the Hammer released to much acclaim. A fiddle driven thrill ride, the band set out to capture the raw energy of their notoriously hectic live shows. Achieving radio play internationally, including support from BBC Introducing and Radio Caroline, the riotous album has become a firm fan favourite.
Since this point Noble Jacks have been touring relentlessly, with sold out shows across the UK on their headline tours, as well as shows at major festivals including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Bestival, plus major European festivals.
Noble Jacks exploded into 2022 with the release of their much anticipated new (3rd) studio album, Last Of The Wild, celebrating with a UK & European Spring tour as the band welcomed back live shows. The new album, Last Of The Wild, charted straight into the Top 40 Official Americana Album Chart and the first single from the album, ‘Never Been Here Before’ has already been going down a storm: “Love this song, Noble Jacks build their unique British sensibility on a foundation of bluegrass and roots creating a sound all their own” – Baylen Leonard, ABSOLUTE RADIO COUNTRY.
Hailed as the finest purveyors of folk-influenced Americana, look out as Noble Jacks take the liveliest show around.
Iona Lane:
Driven by awe and wonder of the natural world Iona Lane delivers poetic songs, with subtle musical touches and contemplative melodies that link unheard stories with the world we find ourselves in today.
In 2022 Iona’s debut album ‘Hallival’ was released to critical acclaim, reaching number 36 in the Official Folk Album Charts and Folk Radio UK listing ‘Hallival’ as #27 in their Top 100 Albums of 2022. Iona draws from landscapes and stories found within nature and has been described by Mark Radcliffe (BBC Radio 2) as “a real talent!”. With intricate guitar playing and the hypnotic tones of a shruti box, Iona’s voice has been captivating audiences up and down the country.
Katie O'Malley:
A voice that pours with emotion and fills a venue, Katie O’Malley has played up and down the UK, describing her sound as a mix of Americana, Blues, Folk, and Rock. A proud Mancunian, her 70’s inspired music takes you on a journey of gravelling throttling vocals and guitar driven sounds. Katie has played a variety of festivals including Wychwood Festival and Upton Blues, received radio play from BBC Introducing, supported Jill Andrews on her UK tour and her music has been featured in the no.1 hit Netflix film Kissing Booth 2.
