Funk nation returns to the legendary venue again on bank holiday Sunday August 27th for an all day special with the legendary James Taylor Quartet headlining in the evening.. We will kick off the days event from 2 pm in the garden with Band and quest DJs until 6 pm.. Then inside with Funknation residents Spinning some of the best Funk and Soul … Tickets For the evening gig are £20 the afternoon Gig will start at 2 pm in the garden, and will be £5 on the door Everybody welcome..
We will also be providing a barbecue throughout the day and into the evening…

The James Taylor Quartet

The James Taylor Quartet (or JTQ) are a British four-piece jazz funk band formed in 1985 by Hammond organ player James Taylor following the break-up of his former band The Prisoners,[1] and in the wake of Stiff Records' bankruptcy. The band consists of James Taylor (organ), Mark Cox (guitar), Andrew McKinney (bass), and Pat Illingworth (drums).[2] Recordings and live performances often include vocalist Yvonne Yanney.
