Steve Matteo is the author of the books Act Naturally: The Beatles on Film, Let It Be and Dylan and contributed to the collection The Beatles in Context. He has written for such publications as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, New York, Time Out New York, Rolling Stone, Spin, Elle, and Salon. He often appears on radio in his capacity as a music journalist and author. His eagerly awaited exploration of The Fabs at The Movies has just been published by Backbeat in the UK

Tonight Tony Gleed interviews Steve on stage at the historic Water Rats theatre pub and venue, then inviting questions from the floor, with a fantastic Fab 4 on film related DJ set before and after, and live interpretations from the Beatles illustrious songbook (AND The Rutles!!) from some very special guests, North London local heroes, 'The Magical Mystery Two', who may or may not be joined by Starr drummer Jonny Ringo...plus Andy Charles, uber talented singer and guitar whizz, Highroller and sometime channeller of George Harrison.
