Brighton-based four-piece Starting Fires emerged on the scene in 2023, reestablished from previous lineups with a fresh new style.

The alt-rock band delivers 4-part harmonies, wild guitar solos and bass & drum-driven tracks, resulting in an energetic, audience-involved live performance. The all-queer band hits home with fiery lyrics about Queer identity in their songs ‘Punch Bag’ and ‘My Existence is Resistance’, and their latest single ‘All the Girls Do Is Make Me Cry’, with a hook so catchy it will be stuck in your head for days.
