Singer, producer and alt-rock champion Max Gilkes brings his all star band back home to Brighton for a rare and not to be missed unplugged band set.

Max’s international performing career has taken him far and wide, venues from London’s 100 Club to the Old Fishmarket in Glasgow and all points in between. As a producer/engineer his credits range from Little Dragon to Lilly Allen and his skills have graced numerous Grammy and Mercury nominations. Uncut Magazine gave his debut album ‘Walk in this Direction’ 4 out of 5 and the follow up album ‘Machines' is now available on all platforms.

Max is joined by his regular band, Adam King - drums/percussion (Jason Mraz), Jevon Beaumont - bass/vocals (Moloko, Arthur Brown), and Steve Allsworth - guitar (Ronan Keating, Carrie Underwood).

Bossa specialist and guitarist Luciano explores this captivating style of music born in the buzz of 50's Brazil. Music from Jobim and Gilberto along with some bossa interpretations of classic hits. Luciano is regular on the Latin music scene both in London and Brighton, and throughout the South-East.
