Affectionately know as “a band in a body” Zoë Lewis, singer-songwriter, troubadour, storyteller, plays vintage jazz and world beat grooves on anything from the piano to the spoons! Originally from Brighton she travelled the world and moved to the USA in her 20’s settling in Provincetown, Cape Cod where she performs every summer. She's traveled to over 70 countries performing and picking up musical grooves and stories along the way, released ten albums of original material, and toured with the Indigo Girls, Judy Collins, Richie Havens and Nanci Griffiths.
Her songs have won numerous accolades, have appeared in films, on Broadway, in commercials and most recently on the kids Netflix show StoryBots. She’s written 3 musicals, leads a 1920’s Prohibition era jazz band and plays every winter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and on OLIVIA cruises. She is ecstatic to be back performing in London with Deirdre Cartwright and Alison Rayner and welcoming virtuoso percussionist Gary Hammond (Beautiful South, Hut People).
Vintage jazz, swing and gypsy grooves played on piano, ukulele, guitar and more! World traveler, storyteller, singer-songwriter, a band in a body, her boundless energy is hard to ignore.
"A masterful combination of song, performance and artistry with a contagiously positive attitude and free spirit. Probably one of the most the most charismatic performances I've ever seen."
Bay Guardian, SF
