Event information

Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, But Banjos Saved My Life is a highly awarded and inspirational true story about overcoming obstacles, pursuing passions and the healing power of music.

Keith Alessi was a well known CEO running a company in Canada when he received a deadly cancer diagnosis. This event served as a catalyst for him to learn to play the banjo, a long deferred passion. He ultimately found physical and emotional healing in a circle of musicians and this show tells that story.

His heartfelt tale of overcoming obstacles, pursuing passions, and the healing power of music has delighted international audiences. **** (Broadway Baby). '

A heart-warming show which is much needed at present' (BritishTheatreGuide.info).

One of 18 'Best of' shows selected worldwide to participate in the Fringe Encore Series, Off-Broadway in New York City. Sold-out run. Join us for a banjo playin’, joke tellin’, heart healin’ experience!

Half of every ticket sold will be donated to CLAN Cancer Support.
