Event information
In 2021 Richard managed to get an appointment for a GP to ask why one of his man-spheres was growing bigger than the other. Turned out he had testicular cancer and a month later he was lying on a gurney waiting to have the murderous bollock sliced off. Would he survive? (no spoilers!).
For someone who'd written a whole show about male genitalia (Talking Cock) and written a book about toxic masculinity (The Problem With Men) this felt like some cruel trick of fate.
In his much anticipated return to stand up, after 6 years, Richard talks bollocks and answers the questions of everybody's lips: is a severed gonad in a jar a good thing to bring to Taskmaster?
This is a work in progress and Richard will be using notes.
