Max Blansjaar launches his debut album 'False Comforts' with a headline show at The Bullingdon!
He recorded the album in Brooklyn with indie pop legends Katie Von Schleicher and Nate Mendelsohn. It’s bigger, deeper, wider and weirder than everything he’s done before but don’t panic – you’ll still find the catchy melodies, lo-fi glitchiness and “stark, unassuming genius” (Clash Magazine) that you know and love. The lead single 'Anna Madonna' has been getting press all over the world, with a feature in BrooklynVegan and radio play on BBC 6Music.
