The Settlers

The Settlers are a pop/folk group from the 60's and 70's
The group had a top 40 hit with 'The Lightning Tree' the theme used for ITV's 'Folly Foot Farm' programme. Steve and Patty joined the group mid 70's and enjoyed touring until the groups demise in early 80's. The Settlers are now re-born and have brought back the sound of pop/folk in the 60's-70's, songs from The Seekers, The Springfields, also introducing more contemporary material either from popular names like James Taylor to John Denver or self penned songs from modern life with The Settlers
