I Fagiolini has a unique style that brings the beauty and drama of music to life. To
celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2011, this programme includes a special new commission by Orlando Gough, which premiered on 17 November 2010 at the Cadogan Hall, London. It is based on a moment in the life of one of the 16th century’s most important and flamboyant, Torquato Tasso, who inspired the music of Monteverdi.
