It’s time for the first Dinner With Daisy Club Night of the year!
You can once again make your way over to your favourite east London haunt, Jamboree on Cable St, for an evening of music, film and poetry to end your weekend in style and make the beginning of your week just a little bit easier!
Here’s what you can expect: Royal Treatment Plant, whom you may know from their recent and rather brilliant “All That’s Left” single or from providing the theme tune to Channel 4’s On Track, are taking a break from their SXSW preparations to give us a very special acoustic set;
legendary experimental composer and Scratch Orchestra founder Michael Parsons will treat us to some of his music;
the excellent drum and flute duo Zashiki Warashi will entertain you with their danceable inventiveness;
Dorna Aslanzadeh, one of the French For Cartridge “Liquorice” video artists, presents her new short film;
story-teller extraordinaire Alexia Anastasiadis will keep you enchanted with her readings.
Finally, French For Cartridge DJs will spin some suitably relaxed Sunday-tunes for your enjoyment – all in the surroundings of the fantastic establishment that is Jamboree, who now also serve delicious tapas in case you’re hungry.

In order to get everyone early to bed on a Sunday night, doors are at 6.30 and the music starts at 7 with the last live act on stage at 9 – DJs until 11 for those who want to carry on.

(If you’re local you probably know this fantastic venue already – if not, it’s a lot easier to get to than you think...just across the road is Limehouse DLR, which is just 2 short stops from Bank and Tower Hill or 3 stops from Canary Wharf from the other direction. Also close by is Shadwell station on the reopened East London Line. You can also hop on a bus, 15 from Paddington/Trafalgar Sq/Tower Hill, 115 from Aldgate/Aldgate East, D3 from Bethnal Green/Whitechapel or 135 from Old St/Liverpool St – hope you can make it!)
