Daisy Rodgers Music is very excited to bring a fabulous mix of 4 super new bands together at the infamous Jericho Tavern in Oxford on Saturday 7th May. Doors are at 8pm, first band on at 8.20pm.

Relik
Newbury’s finest indie rock band bring their Foo Fighters & Stereophonics influenced original rock tracks to Oxford. They’ve previously supported Elliot Minor and are regularly played on the BBC Introducing. Check out their brilliant single ‘Face in the Crowd’ for evidence of one of their many catchy and impressive anthemic songs. Last time they played the Jericho the place was packed out.

Cowboy Racer
Marijne van der Vlugt was a presenter on MTV Europe who then left to sing in the alternative indie band Salad (who produced the hits ‘Drink The Elixir’ & ‘Motorbike to Heaven’). Now Marijne has teamed up with producer Mike Mason to produce a brilliant debut indie electronica album ‘LOVE STatiOnaRY’. Recently reviewed by musicinoxford.co.uk, who gave it a thumbs up, enjoying the “come-hither whispering vocals and tricksy synth-pop production”. This is will be their debut performance in the intimate surroundings of the Jericho Tavern. We love the new album and the brilliant track “R U Receiving Me?”, also check out the video to “Yellow Horse”. Ace.

Breathing Light
New indie/dance kids on the Oxfordshire block. We heard their debut demo track and loved it. What Portishead would sound like in 2011. Full of ideas and full of promise. Come listen and enjoy. Have a listen to ‘I Remember’.

Brownian Motion
Staffordshire modern folk duo write super catchy, melodic and quirky tunes for the 21st century. This is a rare chance to see them perform in Oxford. Building on all the fine regional folk traditions with the added spice of chart friendly and memorable tracks they are in a similar vein to Trevor Moss & Hannah Lou. Check out the fantastic ‘Ego’.
