To celebrate Eclectic Voices' 20th birthday we present:

Songs of the Spirit at Union Chapel

This wonderful celebration brings together the new and the old, featuring Scott Stroman's moving jazz song-cycle Songs of the Spirit, first performed in 1997, and the London premiere of his exciting new work, Jazz Psalms, commissioned for the 2010 Three Choirs Festival and first performed in Gloucester Cathedral.

We will be joined by some of the fabulous jazz musicians who have travelled some of the past 20 years alongside us including Bobby Wellins, Cennet Jonsson, and Pete Hurt, saxophones; Henry Lowther, trumpet; Jeremy Price, trombone; Ronan Guilfoyle, bass, and Brian Abrahams, drums, and others. Our youth choir Highbury Young Singers will also be performing with us, and we will also be joined by some of the many singers who have sung with us in the past.

This will be an exceptional evening of exhilarating music and joyful celebration.
