Event information

We announce a cornucopia of musical and writerly delights, to celebrate the first 6 months of the Ministry of Stories.

Join the fantastic John Osborne, poet and author of Radio Head, (Radio 4 Book of the Week), and currently touring his show John Peel's Shed, about the "4ft of vinyl" he won in a competition from the John Peel show in 2002;

The amazing Laura Dockrill - who has had three acclaimed collections of poetry, stories and illustrations published by Harper Collins and she's still only 24.

James Walbourne, guitarist with The Pretenders, The Pogues and the Jerry Lee Lewis Band, recent signing to Heavenly Records and singer-songwriter of the acclaimed new album, The Hill.

The Broken Hearts, Amber and Nisha, turntable goddesses, radio presenters, connoisseurs of vintage fashion, who specialise in playing swing, big band and rock n roll but ain't afraid to drop a little Wu Tang Clan, when the time is right.

All this put together by the gentlemanly Joe Dunthorne, poet and writer of SUBMARINE, recently adapted for the screen by Richard Ayoade.

We fully expect your presence. Got that? Splendid! Carry on ...
