Legends of Rock is back to Wolverhampton with Slade Alive! Five awesome rock/metal Tribute bands to blow you away! The bands include Mentallica, Higher on Maiden, Guns 2 Roses, Faith No Man & Reinventing The Trendkill (Pantera Tribute).

It's a day and night of the ultimate rock fest followed by a rock disco! Doors Open at 4pm

Over 14 years of none stop touring Mentallica have earned a reputation as Europe's top Metallica tribute. Playing across The British Isles and Europe. Receiving a glowing gig review from a Met club Chapter Head and being asked by Joel McIver to play at Soho's legendary Crowbar at the launch of his book, "To Live Is To Die . . .The Life and Death of Metallica's Cliff Burton.

2011 sees Mentallica continue to take the music of Metallica on the road to new towns and venues. This year will see a continued involvement in The Legends of Rock Tour along with other Top UK tribute acts.

From the Explosive opening 'Ecstasy of Gold' through to the epic finale this band goes all out to reproduce the pure energy that was Metallica of the late 80's and early 90's. The growling vocals. Established in 1995 Higher-on-Maiden are the Original and Finest Tribute to Iron Maiden.
Over the years they have appeared in over 13 countries, the band members have actually played on stage with Steve Harris, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, Paul Dianno & Blaze Bayley, and now in 2010 are still going as strong as ever.


Guns 2 Roses -

Guns 2 Roses the UK's longest running Guns N Roses tribute have existed since late 2002 and have become the biggest GNR tribute in history in that time with the history and credentials to prove it! Many tributes have tried but not one comes close to the authenticity and natural charisma Guns 2 Roses has to emulate classic GNR. This has even impressed and been approved by members of the original & new line up of Guns N Roses and has led to G2R members being personally invited on the 2006 and 2010 GNR tours and even low key performances together. Guns 2 Roses are considered the most well known Guns N Roses tribute worldwide and have played to thousands throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and USA and also appearing on tv and magazines all over Europe.

Faith No Man
Faith No Man" is a tribute to all era's of the recently reformed Faith No More. Born in March 2008 the band boasts ex-members from notable midlands metal bands such as "Streamline" and "Beholder". After a couple of highly successful headline sets in 2008 the band has soared to a higher level of professionalism with dates confirmed far and wide throughout their career including Europe.
