Crispian Steele-Perkins (trumpet) is one of the world's finest and best-known classical trumpeters. He has recorded with The King’s Consort, the Academy of Ancient Music, Collegium Musicum 90, the Taverner Players, Tafelmusik, the English Baroque Soloists, The Parley of Instruments and many other eminent ensembles. He has performed obbligati with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Lynne Dawson, Emma Kirkby, James Bowman, Bryn Terfel and Lesley Garrett and has recorded extensively for film and television.
He will be performing music from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries on a range of historic instruments to illustrate their history and development.
